手沖咖啡因沖泡方法及器具簡便易用，近年來在歐美、日本深受歡迎。手沖咖啡需使用壺嘴較細的手沖壺，以免沖煮時水量過大導致萃取不足；多半採濾紙過濾，但會濾掉咖啡粉的油脂，風味較清爽，缺點是風味易受到沖時水流大小、萃取時間長短影響，手法簡單，想精通卻很難。
