比起茶樓，茶餐廳在香港更庶民，而被視為茶餐廳前身的冰室，點心更顯老派。以香港冰室姿態開店的點心大黃，除了有台灣人熟悉的菠蘿油、蛋塔等鹹甜點心，還有類似西式雞肉派的「雞批」，老闆黃少豪說：「幸虧我爸爸是40年資歷的港點師傅，否則哪做得出這快失傳的老味道。」
