堪稱文化之都的台中，擁有不少古蹟遺址，特別是4月中旬後，陸續有包括「筱雲山莊」、「摘星山莊」等修復完成的古蹟，預計對外開放，結合牛罵頭新石器時代的考古遺址，和近代著名抗日名將孫立人將軍被軟禁的日式庭園，讓遊客走一趟大台中，彷彿走過了歷史長廊。
