台北多家飯店去年推出龍蝦吃到飽等活動，好評不斷，更創下1個月吃掉1萬5000隻的紀錄，高雄翰品酒店也在旗下的品辣川泰料理庭園餐廳推出龍蝦餐，主廚林文超說：「加拿大進口野生龍蝦，市價每隻要賣1千元，2隻賣999元1月中推出到現在，整個餐廳業績也跟著翻紅。」
